The two phones, called the 207 and the 208, have the following features:

GSM network connection. 2.4-inch display. Bluetooth. Up to 256 MB flash memory; SD card up to 32GB.
The 208 also comes with a 1.3 Megapixel camera and is available in an optional dual SIM model.

Nokia said in an online statement: "The new Nokia 207 and Nokia 208 are designed to offer speedy Internet access in a versatile package. They bring high quality construction, a full set of contemporary phone features, and a modern design to a classic 'candybar' phone."

Both phones come with Nokia's Xpress Browser, which compresses Internet data for faster streaming. The phones can also be tethered to a laptop through a USB connection to bring wireless Internet to a user's computer. The 207 model has more than a month of standby time and up to 12 hours of talk time on a 2G connection.

Both versions of the phone, as well as the dual SIM 208 model, will start shipping in Q3 of this year.
