Air Products and Chemicals, Inc is a supplier of hydrogen and helium, and has built positions in markets, such as semiconductor materials, refinery hydrogen, natural gas liquefaction and advanced coatings and adhesives. It operates in four segments: merchant gases, tonnage gases, electronic and performance materials, and equipment and energy. In May 2009, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc sold its United States home infusion therapy services business and some elements of its respiratory and home medical equipment business to OptionCare Enterprises, Inc.

Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) NYSE: POT declined by 0.57% to close at $144.04. POT traded 3.96 million shares for the day. Its earning per share remained 4.60. Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PCS) is an integrated fertilizer and related industrial and feed products company. Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. owns and operates five potash mines in Saskatchewan and one in New Brunswick. It also holds mineral rights at the Esterhazy mine and potash is produced under a mining and processing agreement with a third party. Its phosphate operations include the manufacture and sale of solid and liquid phosphate fertilizers, animal feed supplements and industrial acid, which is used in food products and industrial processes. PCS also has a phosphate mine and two mineral processing plant complexes in northern Florida and six phosphate feed plants in the United States. Its nitrogen operations involve the production of nitrogen fertilizers and nitrogen feed and industrial products, including ammonia, urea, nitrogen solutions, ammonium nitrate and nitric acid.

During fiscal 2010, the company produced 1.2 million tonnes of aluminium. It also produced 13.9 million tonnes of bauxite and 3.8 million tonnes of alumina.
