Stocks to Watch: Stocks to watch: Comcast, Nvidia, Deere

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) � Among the companies whose shares are expected to see active trade in Wednesday�s session are Comcast Corp., Nvidia Corp. and Deere & Co.

Comcast CMCSA �said late Tuesday it increased its dividend by 20% to 78 cents per share on an annualized basis. The company also said it plans to buy back $2 billion of its stock during 2013. In addition, the firm announced it will buy General Electric Co.�s GE �entire 49% common equity stake in the NBCUniversal joint venture for around $16.7 billion. Comcast also reported fourth-quarter earnings.

Nvidia NVDA is projected to post fourth-quarter earnings of 24 cents a share. Doug Freedman, an analyst at RBC Capital Markets, said earnings are likely to meet expectations.

Deere DE is forecast to post earnings of $1.39 a share in the first quarter.

Mondelez International Inc. MDLZ �is likely to report fourth-quarter earnings of 37 cents a share. S&P Capital IQ on Tuesday reiterated its buy rating on Mondelez and raised its 12-month target price to $31 from $30.

Whole Foods Market Inc. WFM �is expected to post earnings of 77 cents a share in the first quarter.

Metlife Inc. MET �is forecast to report fourth-quarter earnings of $1.18 a share.

Angie�s List Inc. ANGI �is likely to post a loss of 2 cents a share in the fourth quarter. �We expect modest upside to consensus revenue/EPS estimates and maintain a positive outlook given our expectation for solid revenue growth and improving operating leverage in 2013,� Aaron Kessler, an analyst at Raymond James, said in a report. However, Kessler, who rates the stock at outperform, said a higher rating is limited by the company�s lack of immediate profitability and visibility.
