So, uh, those are some weird looking market share numbers for the U.S. search industry that were released today by Experian Hitwise.
According to Hitwise, here’s what happened in March:
- Ask.com (IACI)saw its share jump to 3.44%, from 2.84% in February.
- Yahoo (YHOO) improved to 15.04%, from 14.57%.
- Google (GOOG) fell to 69.97%, from 70.95%.
- Bing (MSFT) fell to 9.62%, from 9.70%.
Note that the search market shares numbers Street pays the most attention to come from ComScore, which should issue March numbers within a few days.
